The last that was really known about Christophe Dominici was that seven days ago before midday he told his partner, Loretta he was going out to buy some cigarettes. What happened thereafter is the subject of a police investigation and some bleak news reporting in L’Équipe, the French sports paper. Dominici is seen walking back and forth near the Saint-Cloud park in Paris; two park employees see him, he is reported as looking unwell, one of the park employees approaches him and asks if he is OK and needs help.
