A new French-inspired bakery opened its doors in Maidenhead High Street this week. Laurents Bakehouse is serving up an array of tasty treats from its new venue at 33 High Street after opening on Thursday, November 14. Among the selection, visitors can pick up traditional French baguettes, fresh bread, pastries, croissants, doughnuts, brownies, blondies and muffins. Xavier Laurent, founder of Laurents Bakehouse, said: “We are delighted to have launched in Maidenhead and have had some great feedback from customers so far. “31-33 High Street was previously a run-down section of the High Street which we have developed into two new modern retail units and 10 attractive new apartments.
