It turns out, the new French president spent 26,000 euros (Rs 19,81,817) on makeup during his first 100 days in office. President Emmanuel Macron's office yesterday confirmed a report that he has spent all this money on makeup during his first three months in power. The report in Le Point news magazine prompted harsh criticism of Macron from French social media users. It said the cost includes the pay of a freelance makeup artist following Macron during television appearances and trips abroad. And you thought travelling the world and building a border wall was exploiting public money, silly!
