French manufacturing sentiment came in at 101 in November, down from 103 in October, according to data from the national statistics office Insee released Thursday. Economists polled by The Wall Street Journal had forecast a reading of 102. The decrease in the headline index was led by a weakening of opinions regarding production in the last three months and global orders, according to the survey. The business sentiment indicator--which includes all the economic sectors--continues stable in November, unchanged for the third consecutive month at 102, Insee said.
