Metlink advised that some services on the Hutt Valley Line would be affected. Passenger trains have been cancelled between Petone and Upper Hutt following a freight train derailment near Woburn. Metlink advised travellers at 9.30pm that some services on the Hutt Valley Line were cancelled as a result of the derailment. Updates were expected to follow, but Kiwirail could not immediately provide further details. Police were not yet aware of any incident.
