Freeman Schools hosted illustrator Chloe Burgett recently in the elementary media center as a part of a Hevelone grant. She told the students about her job as an illustrator hoping to inspire them to dream about their futures. “This cat that I recently drew. After reading the book, Burgett answered questions from the students before she drew an elephant with them. I thought I might want to be a cartoonist or greeting cards, but I love working with the children.”Media Specialist Becky Weyer said Teri Nieveen, another Freeman Media Specialist, had applied for a Hevelone grant.
