Freedom airline launched a flight in GarrissaStill in Garissa residents who wish to travel by air will now be able to do so following the launch of the first flight in the area by freedom airline. The airline launched its maiden flight yesterday and will be operating on Monday and Fridays at a cost of 5,000 Kenya shillings per passenger. Air travel will be a relief for the passengers who have to endure 6 hours by bus. According to the airline manager Shillow Abukar, plans are underway to introduce daily return flights as the county government plans to build an airport in the next six months.
