DAVAO CITY—Freed Abu Sayyaf hostage Kjartan Sekkingstad on Saturday thanked the Philippine government for facilitating his release. Peace process adviser Jesus Dureza, in a statement, said Kjartan Sekkingstad was released by his captors at around 2 p.m. on Saturday.
