It was an evening which saw Fingallians book their place in the semi-finals when topping the Division 1a Cup section following a 4-13 to 2-12 win over Clontarf at Lawless Park. In the Division 2a Cup the St Maur’s attack delivered a display they had been threatening for a while as they overcame Man O War at home on an 8-14 to 2-4 scoreline. That win sees Maur’s claim top spot in the group and they now join O’Dwyer’s in the semi-final. Meanwhile, the lower-tier club championships kicked off with St Patrick’s Donabate recording a 4-13 to 3-8 win away to Cuala. Fingal Ravens recorded a 5-7 to 0-9 win in group A of the Junior F grade.
