(File photo)Stratford is getting set to celebrate 10 years of its Summer Nights concert, and three Taranaki bands are coming to town to help. The free Stratford District Council event, which offers an afternoon of music on Saturday, followed by movies from 12pm on Sunday, is taking place at Ted McCullough Rhododendron Dell in King Edward Park this weekend. In a media release, council community services director Kate Whareaitu said the event is a favourite on the events' calendar. "We're excited to celebrate 10 years of Summer Nights with our community this weekend, and it's awesome to have talented Taranaki artists help mark the milestone."
