Fredericton shooter fired long gun from elevated position, police say


A Fredericton man facing four charges of first-degree murder allegedly used a long gun and fired from an elevated position, police said Saturday, in a Friday attack that killed two police officers and two civilians. The victims have been identified as Fredericton officers Const. Robb Costello, 45, as well as Donald Robichaud, 42, and Bobbie Lee Wright, 32. Bullet holes riddle a window in an apartment building in Fredericton where Friday’s attack took place.
