The Fredericton police are searching for a male suspect after a shooting in a downtown home early on Wednesday morning. The police say officers arrived at a house on Saunders Street about 4 a.m. after reports that shots were fired. He has been taken to the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. There are nine police vehicles parked around the Saunders Street home. Officers can be seen going into a house and are also widening the perimeter of police tape.
