A Fredericksburg man was cited by airport police on Tuesday after he was caught with a loaded .380 caliber handgun at a security checkpoint at Dulles International Airport, officials with the Transportation Security Administration said. The man faces weapons charges after a TSA officer staffing the X-ray machine at a security checkpoint spotted the handgun as the man entered and placed his carry-on items on the conveyor belt. Officials said the man also had two loaded magazines full of ammunition.
