His latest effort, March’s “You Only Live 2wice,” reflects a man whose circle has gotten smaller in light of the events of the past year. Thursday night’s show, like the rest of Freddie Gibbs’s tour, was a highlight of his reintroduction to society. Still, “Deeper,” a bitter tale of lost love, reveals that a wounded Gibbs is the most compelling Gibbs. Shortly after performing “BFK,” Freddie Gibbs spent the remainder of his set greeting fans.
