A suspicious parcel that sparked a police callout early this afternoon turned out to be mail dropped off in the wrong place by a courier. Police were called after the package was seen on the ground near the St John building on Douglas St in Frankton shortly after 12pm. A police spokeswoman said bomb detector dogs were used to check the package, which turned out to be someone's mail left at the wrong place.
