A "sold" sticker has gone on two holiday cottages below Frankton Rd. A member of a family that has just sold two prominently located longtime Queenstown holiday homes says his feelings are "a mixture of sadness and pleasure that the sale has gone well". The sale, for an undisclosed sum, marks the end of the Warrington family’s seven-decades-long association with Sugar Lane land by the Frankton marina. The first wooden holiday home was built about 1957 and the second, a Lockwood design with a stone cladding, was added about 1988. He said his family had yet to discuss their options, which could include buying a smaller Queenstown holiday home.
