Franklin shows off its strengths as some of Auckland's tastiest and nicest cafes in the 2018 Meadow Fresh New Zealand cafe of the year awards. Three Franklin cafes took out the top title in their category including Patumahoe's very own Butcher's Shop Cafe, which received Best Regional Town. "It was pretty exciting, the staff were phenomenal and we've got a good product so that helps," cafe co-owner Rachel Capon said.
