Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is still without a strong spine to his team despite spending big on Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech, according to former Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves. Ziyech became Lampard's first signing as Chelsea head coach earlier this summer, agreeing to join from Ajax for £33.3million. Hargreaves is a fan of both players and says they will add to the quality "ball players" Lampard already has. However, he still thinks the Chelsea team are a long way off matching the Blues' Premier League title-winning teams of the past. "I think Timo Werner's a fabulous player and Ziyech, I love him off the right-hand side," Hargreaves said on BT Sport.
