( NHL Players' Association )Meeting a tight deadline by the “skin of his teeth,” world renowned architect and designer Frank Gehry unveiled the trophy he designed for the World Cup of Hockey. “I can tell you don’t like it,” Gehry joked to the roomful of sportswriters at the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto in 2004. A few months after Gehry’s unveiling, the World Cup ended with Canada’s victory over Finland.
