France’s post offices are experimenting with opening changing rooms in some branches to cater to online shoppers who want to quickly return purchases that don’t fit. A standalone changing room designed to resemble a French mailbox and painted in a canary yellow shade has been erected in one of the test post offices in Paris. According to La Poste, the initiative goes beyond a simple locker room. La Poste anticipates increased traffic as a result of the trial. Similar to other national post offices, La Poste aims to increase its package business in order to make up for the decline in letter traffic over time.
