FRAMINGHAM — A traffic constable was injured when he was struck in the back on Tuesday by a pickup truck, authorities said. The driver of the pickup truck, a 50-year-old Framingham man, was cited for failing to slow while turning at an intersection. The traffic constable was directing traffic while roadwork was being done near the intersection of Arthur and Grant streets when he was struck at 1:37 p.m., Mickens said. “The operator of the truck was on Arthur Street and at the intersection began to turn left onto Grant Street, and struck the traffic constable,” Mickens said.
