Tremblay noted that if the schools were to allow remote learning, it would have to be negotiated with the teachers union. But on Aug. 25, guidance was revised to allow for quarantined students to participate in schooling remotely if their schools are able to "allow students to join their schedule remotely." To decrease the amount of time students and staff spend quarantining, Framingham, Milford and Ashland schools are turning to the state's "Test and Stay" quarantine protocol, with the Framingham School Committee approving the policy on Wednesday. Pooled testing is also available for Framingham students. Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School will not participate in Test and Stay, according to Superintendent/Principal Bella Wong.
