New Zealand golfer Ryan Fox is tied in 15th place on the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship leaderboard following the opening round in Scotland this morning. Fox, playing on the St Andrew's old course, carded a one-under 71 to sit three shots behind leaders Australian Marcus Fraser and England's Matt Wallace in the European Tour pro-am tournament. Former Australian leg-spinning cricketer Shane Warne is Fox's amateur partner in the event, with the duo placed tied for fifth place on the leaderboard after the first round. Warne and Fox carded a seven-under 65, trailing leaders Marcus Kinhult and Frank Quattrone by two shots.
