It would be surprising, a shock, really, if Wright wasn't an ardent consumer of Fox News, which relentlessly promoted the rally in the days leading up to Jan. 6. Evidence emerging from Dominion's $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit against Fox has exposed the network's cynical manipulation of its viewers, who trust it to report the facts. As someone put it: "Fox is made up of rich people trying to convince poor people that other poor people are the problem." But many Fox viewers haven't heard about it because until last week, the network reportedly refused to let its correspondents report on the story. But viewers deserve better than to be patronized by people too craven to stand behind their own words.
