President Trump declared a national emergency to deal with the coronavirus crisis on March 13, 2020. Currently, the president gets mixed ratings for his overall job performance: 47 percent approve, while 52 percent disapprove. Forty-five percent of voters have a favorable view of Trump as a person, while 54 percent view him unfavorably. The poll has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3 percentage points for all registered voters.
