A senior political analyst for Fox News, President Donald Trump ’s favorite cable news network, blasted the president’s brief statement on Saturday about the death of Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.). Trump has been vocal about his dislike for McCain, who died Saturday more than a year after he was diagnosed with brain cancer. The former Republican presidential nominee was one of Trump’s most outspoken critics from the president’s own party. Hume wasn’t the only one to point out Trump’s lackluster tribute to McCain. Twitter users also bashed Trump for sharing an Instagram post about McCain’s death that featured a picture of himself.
