Fox News’ Dan Bongino has YouTube account suspended, demonetized for posting COVID-19 misinformation

Dan Bongino is about to have a thin week on YouTube after the Fox News host and right-wing commentator was suspended from the platform, according to multiple reports, for spreading COVID-19 misinformation. According to a story on Yahoo.com, Bongino received a temporary suspension after saying that “masks are useless in preventing the coronavirus’ spread.” So, the report said, he won’t be able to upload content, and his channel was also demonetized. And it looks like that he might just be done — his choice — on the platform altogether. He will be able to apply again for YouTube’s Partner Program and begin receiving payment for his channel’s content after 30 days, the report said. But, the report said, Bongino already took to Twitter with an email he sent to YouTube that explained he would “immediately post content on why masks have been totally ineffective in stopping the pandemic” when the suspension ends.
