The festival, organised by Taste Cumbria, will be back for its fourth outing on August 10 and 11 - with a promise that it will be bigger and better than previous years. Onstage at the Vici Demo Stage there will be cooking demonstrations and the Festival Stage will play host to live music. Councillor Anne Quilter, Cumberland Council’s executive member for vibrant and healthy places, said: "This year’s Taste of the Sea festival is shaping up to be another brilliant event. Visitors will also have the chance to meet Cumberland Council's Maryport regeneration team overseeing the town's ongoing £12 million investment.
