Students of Bukembe Boys High School in Kanduyi constituency, Bungoma county, on Monday night razed a dormitory as they protested against their entertainment schedule. They are Chesamisi High, Kimilili Boys and Khasoko where students went on the rampage. The Kilimanjaro dormitory that hosts 112 students was set ablaze at 8:30pm when students were attending their evening preps. He said he heard a loud bang coming from the dormitory section and when students rushed they found the dormitory was on fire. The student went ahead to say that they had requested the principal to reschedule the entertainment time from Saturday at 6pm to 9pm and to Saturday 1pm to 11pm.
