Suzie McCash dialled for an ambulance after her mother, Rowena McCash, suffered a respiratory arrest caused by an allergic reaction at their home in Tynemouth, Tyne and Wear. Police have released a recording of the call, in which Suzie calmly describes her mother’s condition to the contact handler at Northumbria police. “Mummy hasn’t answered yet, I don’t know why, but she hasn’t answered yet,” she can be heard saying.
