Four armed thugs were shot dead by police at City Cabanas along Mombasa road on Thursday morning and two pistols and 24 bullets recovered. Police said the four are suspected to be criminals who killed Nairobi based businessman Paul Ngigi at his Kikuyu home last month. The suspect only stole his mobile phone. "The suspect are part of a five man gang operating between Thika and Nairobi, they were killed at 3.30am when they tried to shoot at police officers", head of special crime prevention unit Noah Katumo saidNgigi, who operated a wholesale mitumba business in Gikomba was killed as he drove into his compound.
