The Korean Peninsula has been jolted by four earthquakes of magnitude 2.1 or larger in a span of three days this week, the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) said today. A 2.4 magnitude earthquake hit North Korea's South Pyongan Province, just north of the capital Pyongyang, at 3:10 p.m. The quake occurred 18 kilometers north-northwest of the province's Songchon, with the epicenter at 39.39 degrees north latitude and 126.13 degrees east longitude.
