Four people cut out of vehicles after serious crash on State Highway 1GOOGLE MAPS Two vehicles collided on SH1 near Dromore Methven Rd early Saturday, leaving four people injured. Three people are seriously injured and a fourth has moderate injuries after a crash on State Highway 1 in Canterbury. Four people were trapped in the vehicles and had to be cut out by firefighters. A St John spokesman said two people were flown to Christchurch Hospital with serious injuries. A third with serious injuries was taken to hospital by road ambulance, while a fourth person had moderate injuries and was also taken to hospital by road ambulance.
