NewsFour new envoys including three ambassadors and a High Commissioner presented credentials to President Maithripala Sirisena at the President’s House yesterday, Presidential Secretariat said. Accordingly Nejmeddine Lakhal as Ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia and Jose Ramon Baranano Fernandez as Ambassador of Spain presented credentials. Archil Dzuliashvill would be new ambassador of Georgia while Conrad Mederic is High Commissioner for the Republic of Seychelles in Sri Lanka. While the High Commissioner of Seychelles will be based in Colombo, others will function as non-resident concurrently accredited Ambassadors with residence in New Delhi. Foreign Ministry Ravi Karunanayake and Acting Secretary to the President Austin Fernando and Foreign Secreatray Esala Weerakoon were also present at this occasion.
