There are no new community cases of Covid-19 in New Zealand today, but there are four new cases in managed isolation. There are two new historical cases in managed isolation. There are also two previously reported cases reported on May 6 that were being investigated as historical cases and which have now been confirmed as historical. The total number of active cases in New Zealand is 27. Both are in a stable condition and were taken to hospital safely using strict infection prevention and control measures which are in place for all hospital transfers from managed isolation and quarantine facilities.
