Sheikh Rashid Ahmed says work on Mother-Child Hospit­al is rapidl­y going on and all the funds have been releas­edRAWALPINDI: Minister for Railway Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has decided to hold week long celebration for the occasion of Independence Day from August 13-19, amidst the initiation of four mega projects in Rawalpindi. Talking to The Express Tribune, the minister said that work on Mother-Child Hospital is rapidly going on and all the funds have been released. The prime minister will put the foundation stone of the 23 kilometer Leh Expressway in July at a public meeting in Liaquat Bagh. One university has been established in Rawalpindi, while plans for the second are in process. While, Awami Muslim League has decided to carry out week-long celebrations for the mega project of water supply from Ghazi Brotha to Rawalpindi city Cantt.
