Four people died and several others sustained severe injuries Wednesday morning in a horror crash involving a Mombasa-bound passenger bus and a trailer at Manyani area in Voi along Nairobi-Mombasa Highway. The bus, owned by Dreamline Bus Company, with 44 passengers on board was attempting to overtake a trailer when it rammed on the right-side edge of the container. The impact destabilized the speeding bus which swerved on the path of an incoming trailer heading to Nairobi leading to a head-on collision. The drivers of both vehicles died on the spot. A female passenger on the front seat of the bus and the trailer’s conductor also perished in the accident.
