About an hour later, emergency services were called to a second crash in Freyberg St, Ōtūmoetai, after a vehicle struck a tree. “Our crews assessed and treated one patient who was transported to Tauranga Hospital in a serious condition.”Police said the vehicle was towed and inquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
