Four men were arrested by the Gurugram Police Crime Branch in the small hours of Tuesday for allegedly offering rides to people and robbing them at gunpoint. As soon as he boarded the taxi , the accused snatched his two debit cards and one credit card at gunpoint. The accused would mostly take passengers at IFFCO Chowk, Shankar Chowk and Rajiv Chowk on the Delhi-Gurugram Expressway. They would allegedly take a U-turn to drive to an isolated place near Hero Honda Chowk after the passengers boarded the cab and then rob them at gunpoint. The accused would beat passengers and snatch their mobile phones, cash, cards and other belongings.
