(Bangkok Post photo)More flights have been arranged to take home another 1,000 Thais in Egypt next month in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, according to the government spokeswoman. Another 690 have registered to go home with the Thai embassy in Cairo. There are now 4,137 Thais in Egypt and the embassy is checking whether more of them would like to go home. "Thai people in Egypt need not worry because the government is taking good care of them," she said.
