Four die in overnight crashesCHRISTEL YARDLEY/STUFF The fatal collision between the car and the logging truck happened near Hinuera stoneworks. Two people died after separate overnight crashes in the lower South Island, both thought to involve single vehicles. In one of the crashes, a 24-year-old woman died after her car slid across a Waikato highway centre line into the path of an oncoming truck. CHRISTEL YARDLEY/STUFF The collision happened near Hinuera stoneworks between the intersection of SH29 and SH1 and Taotaoroa Rd. The crash happened on Pyes Pa Rd - between Williams and Taumata roads.
