The bodies were recovered early on Tuesday near a port in Chanandi Union, said Hatia Police Station OC Abdul Majid. The dead have been identified as Sampad, 12, Kamrul, 18, Rakib, 18 and Rashed, 25. The six people on the boat had gone to bed on Monday night after anchoring their boat at the harbour, said OC Majid. A storm late at night caused a nearby pontoon to strike the boat and overturn it. The bodies were recovered from the boat in the morning.”
