Four people have died in a crash involving two vehicles near Hamilton Airport. Fire crews from Hamilton and heavy rescue trucks from Chartwell and Hamilton Airport worked simultaneously to cut trapped people from the vehicles, he said. At least two others, possibly more, were trapped in the crash on Ohaupo Rd just after 10pm on Friday. Northern Fire Communications shift manager Paul Radden said the crash involved a Toyota van and a Nissan Skyline car.
