England have played 18 matches against the odds and remained unbeaten in all formats until Australia dramatically snatched the one-day series from them on Wednesday night. Here cricket correspondent Paul Newman looks back at the winners and losers from cricket’s first — and hopefully last — summer behind closed doors. They remain masters but was it myopic to allow them both to play in five of the six Tests?
