Many successful companies use entirely distributed teams. One of the most common issues with distributed (and remote) teams is this question: How will I know my team is working? At the same time, the process makes it easier for all team members to detect and collaboratively resolve blockers. Running a successful distributed team is not an easy task, but it is often worth the effort. Not all team formats work for in all circumstances, but being flexible and open to trying different team working arrangements can provide benefits.
