Leading a small offshore technology team is not easy. What I have found is that success will come if you eliminate confusion, ensure proper and constant communication, respect and appreciate the team as you would a local team and treat them as you would your own children. Do your job to the best of their ability and don’t take advantage of the system and I will help make the system work for you. Little Things CountWhen your team is local you have many ways of building loyalty. You can also bring in donuts or bagels in the morning, do team lunches or host after-work get-togethers.
