Four Malaysians nabbed in Cambodia for holding woman hostage

FOUR Malaysian operators of an online casino in Sihanoukville, Phnom Penh, Cambodia were arrested over the weekend for holding a woman to ransom. The woman, a 24-year-old Thai national, was an employee of the online casino, and was accused by the Malaysians of having stolen company money. When the woman contacted her husband in Thailand, he lodged a police report at the Klongluek police station in Sa Kaeo province. The woman held hostage was freed, and the four Malaysians were arrested. Sa Kaeo Immigration police chief Colonel Benchapol Rodsawas said the woman has returned to Thailand, while the four Malaysians will be charged in Cambodia.
