The no-confidence motion triggered serious differences within the ruling BAP as over a dozen of its members revolted against their own CM Jam Kamal. The disgruntled members demanded the resignation of the incumbent chief minister Jam Kamal Khan. The rebel members also threatened to tender resignations in the case Jam Kamal remains CM of Balochistan. Opposition members also gathered at the residence of Malik Sikandar Advocate to ensure the success of the no-confidence motion against the CM. The ruling party is making hectic efforts to help resolve the situation, which may upset the ruling coalition in Balochistan.
