THE Budimas Charitable Foundation organised a Christmas celebration for more than 160 underprivileged children from five welfare homes along with their caretakers at the Bukit Bandaraya Community Centre in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur. The five homes are Rumah Kanak-Kanak Triniti, Lighthouse Children Welfare Home, Pertubuhan Rumah Kebajikan Chrestus, Stepping Stones Living Centre and Pusat Jagaan Kebajikan Kanak-Kanak Budimas Orion. We hope that this small gesture helps to liven up their day,” said foundation principal officer Anne Rajasaikaran. The foundation currently supports 32 homes across eight states in Malaysia under the Budimas Home Charity Fund. It also builds and operates libraries for orang asli children through the Budimas Education Charity Fund, as well as provides breakfast to underprivileged children in 106 schools across the country.
