Nine cabins have been moved onto properties since flooding in Napier in November left more than 100 homes uninhabitable, but 45 families remain in temporary accommodation. The accommodation service is using existing, undamaged residential housing supply as temporary accommodation where possible. The remaining 40 households in need of temporary accommodation were based at Kennedy Park Resort.
